Here’s my philosophy:
I love looking at the world through the eyes of a child. They’ve been on this earth for such a short time. We have so much to teach them--and they have so much to teach us! Take your time. Notice the small things. Have fun!
Picture this scene: You’ve got 20 minutes to get out the door, and your child isn’t dressed yet. What do you do? Demand your child get dressed, or else you’ll be late? Count to 5? Or maybe…”Welcome to the Chariot Awaits Boutique! Here, you can choose from the three outfits that are displayed on this lovely bed. Which outfit would you like to wear, my dear? That will be five hundred dollars.”
Being playful with children is much more fun than losing your cool, but it doesn’t always come naturally. I get it. I want to show you how fascinating your child’s world is, and I want to hear about your experience.
Let’s pick apart parenting together.
